Job Summary
Postdoctoral research associate will work under the mentorship of Dr. Anne Kirby in the Department of Occupational and Recreational Therapies. The position will involve focused work related to Dr. Kirby’s current research focused on suicide risk and prevention for the autistic community using community-based participatory research. 
Responsibilities
 The postdoctoral research associate will assist with analysis, publication, study management, and dissemination related to autism, suicide prevention, and mental health research using qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed methods approaches. The mentor will support opportunities for further training and development. This position is for 10-months with the possibility for extension.  
Minimum Qualifications
Postdoc
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
Preferences
    PhD or other doctoral degree with research experience in a health or social science discipline (applicant can be ABD at time of application) 
     -Experience with autism research and/or mental health research
    -Experience with neurodiversity-informed research preferred
    -Experience conducting and analyzing qualitative research studies
    -Additional experience with quantitative and/or mixed methods research preferred
    -Experience authoring peer-reviewed research publications
    -Experience or interest in partnering with communities and community-engaged research approaches
    -Excellent writing skills
