The Opportunity:

The Promotions and Digital Content Assistant Producer will create content that serves both broadcast and digital purposes and support the high-quality content airing on WUCF platforms. This position supports the Content Team under the supervision of the Senior Digital/Promotions Producer, and will develop, write, edit, research, and pitch content ideas and overviews.

Classification Title: Broadcast Production Specialist II

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development, production, and post-production of promotional and digital content, including but not limited to program line-ups and episodics, legal IDs, branding campaigns, and special projects as needed.

  • Write and edit scripts under deadlines, working with content to fully serve station mission through various media platforms including broadcast, digital, and radio.

  • Research and pitch content that aligns with station strategies and goals.

  • Support studio production as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous editing experience in Adobe Creative Suites.

  • Previous video production experience.
