| Description of Work | The Project Manager will be responsible for providing significant leadership in coordinating INSIGHTS implementation and research delivered to teachers, students, and parents. The Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of the project. Specifically, this person will be responsible for working with a facilitator to set up parent and teacher sessions; scheduling collaborations with experts consultants; managing/conducting data analysis, and coordinating with CYFS support units. | Minimum Required Qualifications | Master’s Degree in educational psychology, psychology, early childhood education, special education, social work, sociology or a related field, or equivalent degree or experience. At least one year of experience with INSIGHTS, a kindergarten – 1st grade SEL (temperament, etc.) classroom-based intervention. Candidates must possess leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Candidates must demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and professionalism and possess project management, quantitative data analysis, and SPSS skills. |
| Preferred Qualifications | The ideal candidate will be a current UNL employee possessing a PhD in educational psychology, psychology, early childhood education, special education, social work, sociology or a related field. Prefer research management and implementation experience and familiarity with: (a) classroom-based interventions and (b) early childhood. |
