Description of Work
The Project Manager will be responsible for providing significant coordination for the Nebraska Deafblind Project. The Project Manager will coordinate technical assistance and dissemination efforts to families and professionals across, plan statewide deafblind events and workshops, and help coordinate an annual deafblind child count with support from the National Center on Deafblindness.
This is position is part-time (20 hours per week).
Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education, speech-language pathology, or a related field and one year of experience with deafblindness; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience can be working in schools or as a family member. Knowledge of school systems, disability services, family-school partnerships, professional development. Ability to manage conflicts, resolve disputes, and promote collaborative relations. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in education or related field with advanced degree in special education or speech-language pathology being the most preferred. Three years’ experience working in Nebraska schools. Experience with data collection and management. Knowledge in the fields of audiology and/or speech-language pathology is preferred.

Physical Required
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre-employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances.

Posted Salary $25.00/hr. minimum
