Job Description

The Project Manager, Medical Education provides project management and leadership across multiple matrixed stakeholders in two core areas: the adoption and implementation of a new learning management system (LMS) and a new curriculum roll-out. This position will manage the timelines, communication, and implementation of the new curriculum into the new LMS, and continue to lead the integration and implementation of the new curriculum into the LMS. The position will also support the Office of Medical Education (OME) in managing the timelines and data reporting as it relates to OME data needed for accreditation.

The ideal candidate will have a record of managing projects from start to finish while demonstrating clear and effective communication, organization, and prioritization. Candidates with an eagerness to learn and adapt, an enthusiasm for collaboration, and the ability to self-start will enjoy success in this role. Alignment with the vision, mission, and core values of the School of Medicine is required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and four years of related professional work experience OR

Master’s Degree and two years of related professional work experience

Related Experience:

A combination of:

  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook, Excel, Word) and Project Management Software (e.g. Monday.com)
  • Experience managing projects, including schedules, timelines, estimates
  • Curriculum development and structure
  • Web-based learning platforms
  • Faculty/staff training
  • Data management techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education accreditation (LCME preferred)

Total Compensation

The total compensation package includes a competitive salary, moving allowance (if applicable), a rich retirement plan, health insurance options that include dental and vision, life insurance, thirty (30) days of sick leave provided upon start date and two (2) days of sick leave accrued per full month after the first year of service, two (2) days of annual leave accrued each full month, along with many other benefits.
