The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, facilitation, communications and coordination of strategic projects, programs, and initiatives supporting the Office of the President and other executive and senior leaders.
The Project Manager executes the planning, development, and implementation of strategic projects and initiatives working in partnership with interdisciplinary work groups and key stakeholders to meet the strategic vision of the project. Effectively manages implementation schedule and priorities and delivers high quality solutions. Provides direction to work groups and project team.

- Proven excellence in organizational, time and project management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize assignments, handle multiple projects and details simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Task / Project Management: able to independently and collaboratively manage assigned projects and tasks to accurately complete them within budget and by the due date with highest customer satisfaction. Able to manage multiple work groups and / or stakeholders across several projects at once.
- Problem Solving Skills: Able to recognize issues and determine priority. Able to foresee possible barriers, quickly isolate the root cause of issues that arise, and resolve utilizing all available resources.
- Communication Skills: Able to effectively and professionally communicate in both written and verbal form to customers and management with highest courtesy and elocution.
- Interpersonal Skills - Must be pleasant, courteous, and professional to faculty and staff. Demonstrated ability to build relationships across all levels within the organization. Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and patient manner. Must maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
- Unquestioned integrity. Proven experience handling highly confidential and sensitive materials and situations.

Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree (Project Management, Management Information Services, Computer Science, Business or related field)
Minimum experience: 5 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Experience: 4+ of progressive project management experience. Experience in an academic environment preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and SharePoint desired. PowerPoint, Publisher and InDesign a plus.
Certification: Formal Project Management training and / or certification preferred, i.e. PMP, Six Sigma, CPPM, etc.
