Project Manager II: The IT Project Manager II is required to lead multiple projects through all lifecycle phases in support of IT. They are responsible to deliver projects on time and within budget and scope. The Project Manager II is responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, vendor management and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project. Manage several concurrent Medium to Large projects, following APMO methodology.
Management and Administration
Manages medium to large projects that have significant business implications; delivers projects on schedule and on budget; proactively manages project finances and forecasting
Documents project objective, scope, and deliverables; Defines project tasks and resource requirements.
Schedules and attends cross functional project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking notes, sending out relevant updates, etc.
Coordinates internal resources and third-party vendors for execution of projects
Delivers moderately complex project plans reflecting interdependencies, accurate status updates and reports in conjunction with the technical project leaders
Utilizes the project management tool set and processes competently
Demonstrates commitment to their project, including ownership and accountability
Leads regional and remote teams

Conducts regular project reviews to ensure accountability of all project activities as well as the accurate and timely reporting of project success metrics.
Representation
Be a trusted advisor to business leaders by collaborating on ideas, identifying problems, and recommending alternative solutions that create the highest value.
Acts as the primary project contact person and liaison, ensuring the project is represented in project review meetings.
Coordinate with functional leaders to scope projects, develop, track and manage project workflows, mitigate risks and issues, and communicate progress updates
Effectively communicate ideas and initiative updates with senior leadership and other department personnel.
Technical Leadership
Develops a detailed implementation plan in line with the agreed scope and resources.
Oversees development of a monitoring and evaluation plan for the successive phases of the project to capture project performance and results.
Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.

Executes with high level of ownership and responsiveness; utilizes relationships and influence to achieve results
Energize and enroll others in the pursuit of leveraging data and analytics to inform strategic decision making
Utilizes relationships and internal networks to bring together stakeholders and to execute key initiatives and projects
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (Business or related field)
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
Entrepreneurial spirit to create new and imaginative possibilities for revolutionizing the student experience
Candidate will possess strong analytical skills with a focus on systems & process scalability
Good communication skills, including the ability to reinforce process change and garner trust via excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to execute multiple parallel assignments in a high-quality manner while hitting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in related field preferred
Experience in higher education industry
PMP Certification, ADKAR, SAFe Lean Portfolio Management
Familiarity with reporting analytics tools
