This Project Manager position will be part of the Clinical and Translational Project Development (CTPD) Core of the Hematologic Malignancies Research Institute (HMRI). The CTPD supports project management, scientific writing, grant funding and clinical protocol development for the HMRI. This Project Manager position will work with the Leukemia Center and Disease Team as well as the Transplant Center and Modality Team. The PM will report to the Senior Project Development Scientists for Leukemia and Transplant Centers, and will work closely with laboratory and clinical researchers, and biostatisticians to assist with and organize grant, clinical protocol, informed consent, and manuscript preparation.

As a successful candidate, you will: 

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of disease or treatment modality area of focus
  • Facilitate team interactions, organize meetings and file-sharing
  • Assist with identification of funding opportunities, grant writing and submission
  • Assist with writing and submission of clinical protocols and consents
  • Assist translational labs with specimen protocol writing and regulatory submissions
  • Edit manuscripts and data presentations and assist with abstract and journal submission

Your qualifications should include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Maters’s degree preferred).
  • Two (2) years of experience in scientific writing, research project management, clinical study management, or clinical trial regulatory affairs in a healthcare/research/academic environment.
