Summary of Position
Under the supervision of the IOD’s Associate Director, support the IOD’s work to enhance community-integrated long term services and supports in New Hampshire for youth with disabilities, adults with disabilities, and older adults.

Other minimum qualifications
  • Master’s degree in education, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, occupational or speech therapy, social policy, or other related discipline; or Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 3 years of experience related to project specialization.
  • High degree of self motivation, initiative, and ability to work with diverse constituencies
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as required in project area.

  • Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of long-term services and supports systems for people with disabilities and older adults
  • New Hampshire-specific knowledge and contacts within the Department of Health and Human Services
  • Experience applying person-centered planning and principles consistent with standards set out by National Center for Advancing Person-Centered Practices and Systems (https://ncapps.acl.gov/ ) and Charting the Life Course (https://www.lifecoursetools.com/ ).
  • Experience supporting people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in employment and/or transition to adulthood
