The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating everyday operations of several research grants related to dementia and other conditions of aging. The grants include at least core conference grant. Develops and carries out research and conference activities and protocols, provides support to the investigators, supervises student research assistants, and serves as a liaison between grants management and investigators.

  • Carries out essential administrative tasks and operations, including: documentation of research meetings and conference-planning meetings, action items, and major decisions; tracking of progress; communications with investigative team and conference participants; website management; and project reports. 
  • Serve as a liaison to research and conference grant participants, speakers, venues, local IT, and BU-specific grant and financial administrators; arrange research and conference meetings, distribute materials, as needed. 
  • Analyze data, conduct literature reviews, and draft and/or edit research manuscripts. 
  • Develop IRB protocols and prepare materials for continuing IRB review, 
  • Develop organizational tools and protocols.

  • A masters degree with 1-3 years of experience is required. 
  • Computer skills including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Access. •Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with appropriate discretion and sensitivity. 
  • Must be committed to providing the highest level of service and responsiveness. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment. 
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
