The department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science is looking for qualified candidates to serve as Project Coordinators in the Telebehavioral Care Program. We are looking for multiple candidates and are willing to hire into three different levels, detailed below, depending on each candidate's skills and the needs for each team. The successful applicant will bring an expert level of project coordination experience to the position and understand the demands of supporting executives in a fast-paced environment. These persons must be professional, enjoy working in a high-volume environment and be able to apply strong organizational skills while being flexible in their daily routine. Job Description Summary: The Project Coordinator, under general supervision, supervises, coordinates, and assists with the completion of projects. Develops and coordinates project plans through full implementation, such as expanded services of Texas Child Access Through Telehealth (TCHATT), Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN), and other grant funded projects with the Telebehavioral Care Program. Develops and coordinates project plans with schools, primary care facilities, and other stakeholders through full implementation.
Qualifications
Varying levels of positions are available depending on qualifications and project needs:
A Project Coordinator I requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and three years of related experience in project coordination/administration.
A Project Coordinator II requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and four years of related experience in project coordination/administration.
An advanced level Project Coordinator III requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and five years of related experience in project coordination/administration.
Job Responsibilities
Project Needs
The project coordinator is responsible for assisting with project development or determining project needs, depending on the level of the position.
Writes reports and other related materials.
Monitors and prepares reports on financial activity for assigned projects.
Assists in the development, design, purchase and installation and implementation of new services.
Maintains database integrity, security, and accuracy.
Develops and assess projects.
Coordinates project activities including project initiation, value assessments, work plan development, estimating, and project controls.
Recommends or implements program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations.
Coordinates with vendors and others in the delivery and support for systems and services.
Coordinates multiple work streams to ensure cross-project dependencies and impacts are identified and managed.
Reporting
Prepares or disseminates reports and other related referral and marketing information to key stakeholders.
Monitors and reports to project leadership on financial activity for assigned projects related to travel and project purchases.
Coordinates with vendors and partners and others in the delivery and support for systems and services.
Compliance
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations including HIPAA and FERPA. Interprets policies, rules, and regulations and ensures they are followed.
Prepares forecasting and progress reporting against milestones, budgetary updates, and the change management process for review.
