Project Coordinator
About the Opportunity
The College of Engineering in Northeastern University is seeking a Project Coordinator to deliver the activities of the Neurodiversity Initiative - an emerging college-wide effort to promote awareness, understanding, and acceptance of neurodivergent students, faculty, and staff. The program will execute organizational benefits through a packet of short- and long-term projects. The program has extensive strategic planning support, and this role will be the 'boots on the ground' to help execute the projects.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Leading small-scale projects, including project planning and delivery, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and closure.
  • Assisting the Project Manager with medium- and large-scale projects, including maintaining project plans, communication with stakeholders, organizing project documentation, and assisting with development of project artifacts.
  • Organizing logistics for workshops, trainings, and other small-scale on campus activities related to neurodiversity education and advocacy. Liaising with the college's events team on large format gatherings, such as conferences, job fairs, and celebrations.
  • Providing direct executive support to the Program's Director.
  • Maintaining meticulous program documentation for ongoing program evaluation and impact measurement. Liaising with the university's pre- and post-award teams to help apply for and report on grants.
  • Meeting preparation and follow through - collecting agenda items, coordinating logistics, keeping minutes, and following through on the action items.
