Our work environment is a hub of cultures from across the nation and the world, making FAU a place where collaboration flourishes.

This Project Coordinator will work with a media production team of producers, designers and multimedia specialists to ensure the timely completion of projects. This role will report, track and review project progress as well as analyze data and overall project workflows and assignments. This position will report to the Assistant Director of Media and Innovation and work on both the Boca Raton and Davie campuses with travel to other campuses and offsite locations as needed. The ideal candidate has the ability to cope with change in a collaborative environment and will hold a deep understanding of project scope, needs and solutions.

COCE is a hard-working, fast-paced workplace that values creativity and innovation while recognizing the need for structure and consistency. We value a high work ethic and a strong work/life balance. Integrity and collaboration are the core of our team. What type of team member are we looking for?

Resilient. You welcome challenges and create solutions. You are not intimidated by large projects or initial setbacks. You do not give up. You learn from your failures and your successes.

Motivated. You are simultaneously a doer and a thinker. You never stop learning, and never stop applying what you have learned. You embrace the growth mindset of taking on new challenges without sacrificing existing progress.

Engaged. You seek efficiencies, not shortcuts. You’re results-oriented and practice active listening.

Completionists. We are looking for people who thrive on the completion of projects, not just the initiation of projects. We are a support unit and there are faculty and students depending on us to deliver. That is our focus.

United. Above all else, we are a team, a unit. We listen generously, speak honestly, and work together. We do not compete with one another, we collaborate. Victories are shared and celebrated. Our offices echo with laughter. We support one another and everyone has a voice from day one.

Summary of Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate: You will interact with departmental partners to discuss ongoing and new media projects. This includes distributing new media projects and updating instructional designers, coordinators and directors on all media projects. You will also meet with external requestors for media assistance requests.

  • Project reporting: You will create reports, charts, and dashboards that accurately and consistently provide meaningful insight into project health, productivity, and internal media team performance across all COCE projects.

  • Data Analysis: You will provide context and understanding to the numbers you report and communicate data insights to technical and non-technical audiences. You will identify inefficiencies and suggest solutions.

  • Other duties as assigned.

The Center for Online and Continuing Education at Florida Atlantic University seeks scholars who are committed to supporting the learning needs of students from diverse backgrounds and to thoughtfully engaging all communities in higher education.
