Job Overview

The School of Education in the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services at the University of Cincinnati (UC) is currently seeking a Program Coordinator to manage a National Institutes of Health five-year grant.  This is a 12-month position with benefits. This position will have grant funding for five years with a start date April, 2024 and end date May, 2025, with the option to renew annually for up to five years.


Essential Functions
  • Communicating with school personnel, research team members, and community partners. 
  • Supporting curriculum design; participant recruitment, and management of IRB and human subject activities.
  • Budget management, organizing meetings, managing data collection and data entry.
  • Coordination of all project personnel and project activities, and other duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with researchers and graduate assistants at UC, and teachers/administrators/youth in high schools.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s degree in education, psychology, sociology, communications, or a related field. 
  • Highly organized, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable about research principles, design, and strategies curriculum design and leadership experience. 
  • At least one year of practical experience working with youth in a school or community setting is required.
     

Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

One (1) year of relevant experience in program or project coordination.
