Position Summary
The Project Coordinator reports to and will work in tandem with the Director of Annual Giving so that the team is able to exceed expectations each fiscal year. This role is responsible for managing the balance of the director’s time and priorities amongst team members, and in particular, for providing feedback loops on the needs of the team. This person will also be responsible for leading the daily work of two other critical support staff – the trip coordinator and an administrative assistant. Most importantly, the project coordinator will utilize the new ARCH dashboards to provide real-time analytics related to the team’s metrics. Executing new projects or innovative concepts that foresee a gain of dollars and donors for the annual fund will be an evolving and complex task.
This team of fundraisers is a group of generalists who travel on behalf of the university. To that end, this role will handle the collection and curation of materials shared by school and program colleagues. There is an expectation of an innovative and growth mindset to support an ever-evolving team.


Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project management: Oversight of innovation and/or project implementation, business processes, analytics of metrics, budgeting, and forecasting, OKR tracking, and recruitment & talent onboarding.
  • Support director with calendaring, prospect outreach, and trips.
  • Lead the daily work of the administrative assistant and trip coordinator.
  • Create policies and procedures which elevate the team’s efficiencies, especially regarding technology; in particular, oversee the transition from ADIS to ARCH.
  • Assist team with AGP or UA projects and/or events as needed (Renewathon and Student Engagement Center events, for example).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong analytical processing skills to make decisions from data and reporting metrics.
  • Well-developed critical thinking, problem solving, and conflict resolution abilities. Able to quickly think on their feet, identify resources, and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional at relationship management. Comfortable interacting with a variety of diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships. Skilled at expressing empathy and providing premium customer service.
  • Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues. Comfortable facilitating the work of teams and individuals, including peers, students, and volunteers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to relay detailed instructions and provide or solicit feedback.
  • Demonstrated strength in organizational, time management, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure. Strives for accuracy and lends extensive attention to detail.
  • Committed to professional growth, especially an interest in learning management styles and skills.
  • Comfortable and nimble in learning new software systems, processes, and protocols.
  • Ability to listen carefully, learn quickly, and work effectively in a complex organization.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent high school certification and five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range
$22.92 - $35.49 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
