Job Summary | This exciting position will contribute greatly to ensuring the Jindal School of Management is able to provide online courses with high consistency and quality. The main duties will be to evaluate and assess asynchronous and synchronous courses for alignment with JSOM standards through the evaluation of syllabi and courses as well as providing technical course support for refreshing online courses within the learning management system (LMS). In addition, the candidate will coordinate with the JSOM Academic Director of Distance Learning and faculty about course updates aligned to the JSOM standards. The ideal candidate would be one that is curious and loves to find creative processes and technology that can allow online programs to be engaging and beneficial to students and willing to share feedback to faculty to improve courses. This candidate will be supporting training to faculty and student workers for the synchronous modality. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with five years of experience working with students and programs in higher education, or related community programs; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
Preferred Education and Experience | Preferred Education and Experience Three to seven years’ experience in online education and auditing processes, and strengths at documentation. Experience with instructional design, curriculum design, or LMS (learning management systems), preferably in higher education; experience with graphic and multimedia authoring software (such as Camtasia, Articulate/Rise 360, uJa, Panapto), Canva; experience in leading student workers. |
