Job Description

The Program Specialist II, under general supervision, coordinates the planning, development, and implementation of assigned programs and administrative functions for TEES Professional & Continuing Education (TEES EDGE).

Responsibilities:

  • Plans and implements in-person, online, and hybrid educational experiences such as workshops, short courses, and seminars, and assists in their evaluation.
  • Provides programmatic support, to include logistics such as agendas, staffing, location and setup, meals, attendees, and AV equipment.
  • Analyzes programs, projects, or initiatives in order to make improvements to services, processes, or end-user experience.
  • Assists with the development of new, and updating of existing, educational resources.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding program offerings.
  • Coordinates program communications and marketing.
  • Assists with maintaining resources and information on the Learning Management System, Student Management System, and World Wide Web.
  • Performs special analyses and project summaries. Prepares and reviews operational and special reports.
  • Coordinates office records retention and maintains office references and resources materials.
  • Assists with establishing contact and coordinates meetings with clients, directors, and staff for TEES EDGE.
  • Manages an organizational system to analyze requirements for projects or initiatives and coordinates and monitors action items, tracks internal & external deadlines.
  • Serves as the TEES EDGE liaison for operational and administrative support supporting the programs accounts payable and account maintenance duties.
  • Provides direct administrative support to TEES EDGE Sr. Director. Coordinates and processes travel arrangements, itineraries, invoices, and reimbursements for the Sr. Director.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience:

  • Two years of related experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in project/program management, including some supervisor experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Exemplary knowledge of standard office equipment and personal computers.
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet, presentation and word processing software programs.
  • Interpersonal and professional communication skills and abilities to plan and organize effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Proficient with using MS Office Suite
