Job Description

This position is a member of Texas A&M Engineering's marketing and communications team and is assigned to the Office of Donor Relations and Events. This position is responsible for the planning, implementing and executing special events, programs and presentations for the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station and the College of Engineering, in addition to maintaining the events management system and supporting departmental and donor related events as necessary. Position will require attendance at weekend and evening events.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement and execute special events, programs and presentations for the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station and the College of Engineering, supervise, direct and coordinate event personnel and vendors, and provide post-event analysis, budget summaries and participation feedback.

  • Support and work within with events management system.

  • Support departmental and donor relations events, as necessary.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience:

  • No prior experience required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with planning, implementing and executing events.

  • Adobe Suite experience helpful, but not required.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-pace, deadline-oriented environment.
