Position Summary and Duties
Loyola University’s Center for Continuing Education-ASPIRE seeks to hire an energetic individual to serve as Program Specialist. The person selected for this role will report to the Program Director and will work with both internal and external partners. The individual will work collaboratively with our content providers that include faculty at Loyola, and with a variety of alumni, corporate and government entities. Duties include providing diverse range of technical, project and administrative support while coordinating multiple priorities and programs in support of department and University goals.  This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who wishes to grow in lifelong learning and executive education.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree , technical degree or equivalent.
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills 
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, 
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and multi-task effectively. 
Solid judgement and ability to finesse situations requiring professional discretion and discernment 
Self-starter, motivated to learn new skills 
Initiative, especially with respect to developing efficient systems for data management 
Flexible and adaptable 
Team oriented, cooperative, collaborative approach 
Demonstrated experience organizing, planning, and coordinating events.
Commitment to contributing to inclusive environment and LUM’s stated mission and values (e.g., diversity, justice, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor degree in related fields.
Familiarity with marketing and sales strategies and tactics 
Experience in career and organization development in a higher education/continuing education environment.
Proficiency with Course Merchant Software, Learning Management System
Knowledge of HTML coding 
Technical competence with project management software
