Job Summary | Eastern Washington University and the College of Health Science and Public Health at Eastern Washington University invite applications for a Program Specialist 2 position to begin January 3, 2022. The Program Specialist 2 reports to the Chair of the School of Nursing. The individual supports the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) with oversight of all clinical requirements for students and faculty. The preferred candidate for this position possesses knowledge and skills that are unique to nursing education programs and/or clinical settings. Position oversees day-to-day program operations and resolves problems within assigned scope of authority. Position plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates operations of the assigned programs as delegated by the Chair. The position interprets, reviews and applies program policies and procedures, and develops plans for carrying out program activities. Position assesses the needs of the programs and makes recommendations to the Chair. Position serves as the program liaison, has extensive contact with program participants, and provides advising and consultation to students, faculty, and outside entities regarding the programs. Conditions of Employment | This position, during the course of university employment will be involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value, as well as the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 16.
