Department Summary
As a branch campus of University of North Texas, the accreditation status of University of North Texas at Frisco is dependent on the continued accreditation of University of North Texas. University of North Texas is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. 
Position Overview
This position is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of scheduling functions in collaboration with academic schedulers in other colleges and departments, with accreditation, and with the Registrar’s office. This position oversees and coordinates scheduling efforts for all UNT colleges and 45+ departments at UNT at Frisco regional campuses. The primary responsibilities for this position includes coordinating with the registrar’s office, accreditation, and main campus units on program development, course offerings, and course scheduling for all courses that take place on any Frisco campus; managing program execution for each new building on the regional campus in Frisco; providing accurate and timely reporting and projections that support enrollment growth; and providing leadership for the team that is essential for this work. This position is the key to enrollment growth and the long-term success of the UNT at Frisco regional campus(es).

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and three years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to use a variety of complex computer applications.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing. 
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to work independently and lead project teams effectively. Considerable knowledge of University policies and procedures related to functional area (or ability to rapidly assimilate).
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in relevant field preferred
Background in academic advising in higher education strongly preferred
Recruitment or enrollment experience preferred

Job Duties


o
Collaborate with all academic schedulers in 45+ departments to ensure accurate complete, and timely course offerings for students wanting to complete degrees at UNT at Frisco, including carefully reviewing scheduling documents submitted by each academic college in preparation for future terms and planning. This will include accreditation work for branch campus approval and for program offerings at the new campus.

Manage UNT at Frisco room schedule and collaborate with the Registrar’s Office on room placement for classrooms at all four regional campus locations.
o
Coordinate all programming and support initiatives for the Academic Success and Retention team (ie: UNT at Frisco Testing Center, Academic Affairs representation at recruitment events, Peer Mentor training, and department purchasing).
