ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:
This position will support the USF Health Department of Pediatric division of Child Development.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Department of Pediatrics is home to the Trauma-Informed Schools Project, directed by Professor Heather Agazzi, Division of Child Development. The Trauma-Informed Schools Project Coordinator will assist the Principal Investigator (Professor Agazzi) with all aspects of coordinating and managing the project resources, scheduling trainings, coordinating project staff schedules, organizing staff meetings, ordering and developing materials including food and gift cards, tracking budget, planning program activities, translating materials to Spanish, marketing and outreach of the program. Manage data collection and database organization and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing orders for all project materials; organizing and distributing materials; coordinating teacher stipends and participant transportation vouchers;
Scheduling trainings, staff meetings, reserving space, coordinating food and materials for meetings
Data collection survey development, data collection, data management and analysis; IRB application and maintenance of certification
Supporting principal investigator with project management: communicating with field sites.
Answer telephone and email for project incoming inquiries. Other duties as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a field directly related to the program responsibilities and two years of professional experience; or Master's degree in an area of specialization appropriate for the program. Four years of direct experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree (
BS130).
PREFERRED:
Experience using many types of software previously described; good communication skills including writing professional emails and drafting documents; ability to multi-task and independently manage time; bilingual with ability to read/write Spanish is preferred;
