Job Description
In a fast-paced office working with more than 4,000 students, scholars, faculty, staff, and visitors each year, the Program & Outreach Specialist for Global Services provides front-line contact and support for Global Engagement programming and outreach to increase the University’s presence and impact at home and around the globe. The Program & Outreach Specialist helps with the organization of events and programing for the Office of the Vice Provost for Global Engagement, the Office of International Students & Scholars, and the Office of Global Education, including the Study Abroad Fair, weekly Study Abroad 101 meetings, International Education Week, ongoing webinar and lecture series, conferences and other special events. The Program & Outreach Specialist also supports social media and print publication projects and maintenance of the offices’ websites and facilitates visits from external individuals and groups.
The successful candidate demonstrates an ability to independently prioritize and organize multiple tasks in order to meet competing deadlines; have excellent interpersonal and communications skills; an ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment; work effectively and provide superior customer service to diverse groups; identify tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
A successful candidate will be organized, capable of working in a fast-paced office, aware of intercultural differences, and possess excellent communication skills. A bachelor’s degree is required. Overseas experience and/or second-language proficiency are a plus. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $44,100 to $55,150; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat), HTML, Adobe Experience Manager, social media tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace applications. 

1-2 years of administrative support experience preferred. Excellent customer service and the ability to multi-task are essential. Excellent web design and production, graphic design, and project management skills are also a must. Understanding of multimedia technology and data management is helpful. Overseas experience and/or second-language proficiency are a plus.
