As our Program Outreach Advisor, you will act as an ambassador of UAF, working with regional and university partners to support and guide current and incoming university students in the Bering Strait region.
To thrive in this role, candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills and strong skills in organization, partnership and advising.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and two years experience in related fields, such as higher education, adult basic education/GED programs, vocational/technical programs, and/or workforce/career development programs, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Position Details:
This position is located on the Northwest campus in Nome, AK. This is a full-time, 11-month, term-funded, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule , Grade 78, based on education and experience.
