Department Summary
The mission of the Department of Pediatrics and Women’s Health is to continuously improve the quality and value of our education, pediatric health care, research, and community service programs. We are dedicated to educating doctors and physician assistants and providing the North Texas Community quality pediatric medical care and community health services.
Position Overview
University of North Texas Health Science Center seeks a Program Manager.
Job duties include:
  • Lead the planning and implementation of maternal health projects related to discovery, design, development, and implementation of research and programs.

  •  Manage all phases of project development, manage the budgets of multiple projects, prepare research reports for publication, present findings at scientific meetings, and apply for research grants. 

  • Manage all staff and ensure they are properly trained.

  •  Establish team goals and strategies.

  •  Oversee the activities of the Maternal Health Project Coordinator responsible for Maternal Mortality Case Preparation services.

 
  • Coordinate with community stakeholders to plan education offerings to the community in the area of maternal health.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health (with maternal child health focus). 2 years of experience in a health care, research, or educational environment, including 1 year in writing research grants. 
UNTHSC is an AA/ADA/EOE.
