Position Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. 
The Program Manager provides vital administrative and operational support to the Career & Leadership Office in the MBA Program. The position is responsible for several areas in Career & Leadership: 1) serves as the primary contact for managing all student communications and front-line representative for students on behalf of the Career & Leadership team, 2) manages vendor contracts and event logistics for all C&L activities and events, 3) collaborates on various cross-team projects that help advance the C&L mission in optimizing service delivery and support for students, employers, and other stakeholders, 4) manages and analyzes student data in the Career & Leadership CRM system (12Twenty), 5) provides ongoing operational support to the Career & Leadership team and employer partners especially during the on-campus/virtual recruiting periods, 6) uses professional judgement to strategize with the C&L Operations team to create, maintain, and improve internal processes to enhance the MBA student experience across portfolios. This position will be the front-line representative to multiple constituents interacting with the MBA Program office, primarily students and employers. The Program Manager must be able to work independently and will be expected to apply a high degree of judgment and discretion in carrying out tasks. This position must work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service and help resolve challenges as they arise.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in a fast-paced environment and provide flawless customer service. Must possess a professional demeanor with exceptional organizational, written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Highly self-motivated, demonstrates initiative, positive attitude, results-driven, and possesses the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external constituents. Strong command of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required. Ability to work early morning and evening hours during peak recruiting times.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience with a job listing database (e.g., 12Twenty) preferred. Experience in recruiting, employer relations, leadership development, or event planning in a corporate or university environment preferred.
