Program Manager, Student Leadership
Center for Public Service
Location:  New Orleans, LA
Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for management of Community Engagement student leadership programs, including the Community Engagement Advocates, Community Service Fellows and the Weatherhead Scholars programs. Duties include recruitment, ongoing trainings, student coaching and performance evaluation, and program assessment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Social justice mindset that actively supports equity and inclusion 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office balancing multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours
• Knowledge and application of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years’ community and student development work experience
• Two (2) years of experience in social justice programming
• Experience with Cohort Building and Recruitment 
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s Degree
• At least two years of experience in service-learning theory and pedagogy, experiential education programs, higher education student leadership development, social justice, community engagement or engaged scholarship
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "exempt, salaried" and is assigned to pay grade 24.
