PROGRAM MANAGER OF SOM PROGRAMS - (T49094)
To administratively manage one or more program/s within
the School of Medicine (SOM). To independently design, develop and administer
program content for the assigned program. To establish program objectives,
maintain policies and procedures, serve as liaison between the program and
internal/external stakeholders. To provide administrative support to faculty,
staff, students and the outside community. To manage assigned program fiscal
operations, develop and provide reports and/or analyses.
The Program Manager for the Cancer Center Development and Community Relations office will direct the day-to-day activities for the Board Liaison, corporate development, the ArtBLINK Gala, the Fiesta Ball, and other cancer-related events. .
Annual Salary Range: $47,486.40 - $74,484.80
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years
of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for
Excellent prioritization, organization, management,
written and oral skills are required. The candidate must have the ability to
travel to meet with both on & off-site vendors, possess a creative approach
to problem-solving, and have previous experience with project management. (S)he
must also have the ability to stand for long periods and walk short distances
At least 5 years’ experience with executive level event
planning, generating gifts, financial management, negotiation, strategic
analysis, sales, and marketing is strongly preferred.
Must be willing to work occasional after hours and weekends.
