Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | The Program Manager of the Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) is responsible for the provision of assessment, referral, counseling and coaching services for all full and part time faculty, staff and their immediate family members. This includes providing guidance to supervisors, chairs, deans and department heads regarding impaired employees and departmental difficulties. The purpose of the FSAP is to provide timely, confidential and professional mental health and substance abuse services to all employees of the University. |
Minimum Qualifications: | Education: A graduate degree in related mental health discipline, with an emphasis on substance abuse and organizational behavior, particularly in an occupational arena, and proficiency in the delivery of mental health counseling services, e.g. masters in social work or doctorate in clinical psychology. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of counseling experience, preferably within an employee assistance setting. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
