Program Manager - Inclusion & Involvement @ UC Blue Ash

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a Program Manager for Inclusion & Involvement. UC Blue Ash College is the largest regional college in Ohio, located in Blue Ash, Ohio with an enrollment of approximately 5100 students.

 

The Program Manager is central to creating and promoting an engaging and welcoming campus climate at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College. Reporting to the Director of Student Life & Engagement, the Program Manager is responsible for educational outreach and programmatic initiatives that serve to both support students from underrepresented populations and enhance awareness of diversity related issues on campus. Additionally, the Program Manager will be responsible for the support, training, and management of student organizations. Responsibilities include supporting and engaging underrepresented students, implementing and managing programs, events and services that include but are not limited to heritage theme month programs, academic/personal development events and the support of student mentoring program. The Program Manager will also support the day to day operation of all UC Blue Ash student organizations, as well as coordinating the registration/recognition process. This includes officer training, adviser training, and all other organizational support.  

 

This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.

 

Minimum Qualifications : Bachelors' degree with three (3) years’ experience; -OR- Associate's degree with five (5) years’ experience; -OR- seven (7) years’ experience. Experience must be in program development or business administration. Experience may require at least one (1) year of supervision

 

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, Student Affairs or a related/similar field. Other ideal qualifications are: Demonstrated experience working with ethnically and culturally diverse students or populations preferably in a college or university setting; demonstrated program/event planning and management experience; culturally competent with an appreciation of diversity and inclusion; a collaborative and team building approach; experience working with or advising student organizations; comfortable with the use of technology including Microsoft Office applications and social media.
