  • JOB DUTIES

Description

Under the supervision of the Clinical Director assists with department program strategy and operational improvements. Leads special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Develop, implement, and administer policies and procedures under guidance of the Director. Assists in monitoring of daily and financial operations, including budget, and purchasing. Provides recommendations on operational and strategic direction including establishing care pathways with other clinical departments through internal and external partners to ensure program sustainability and growth. Leads all process improvement initiatives for department; identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions to reduce waste and streamline workflows. Develops business intelligence tools such as Tableau dashboards and other data reporting capabilities to track performance and create active daily management. Salary Range: $78,800.00-$175,000.00/annually

Qualifications

Required: * Bachelor’s Degree * Three or more years of experience in healthcare management * Excellent interpersonal skills to maximize functional interaction with administrators, faculty, students, patients, university and governmental officials, various private professionals, and the general public. * Demonstrates excellence in oral and written communication skills. * Ability to handle sensitive and difficult situations in a professional and responsive manner; ability to exercise own judgment. * Ability to interact effectively with individuals and organizations at all levels, establish and maintain good working relationships. * Ability to work independently on assignments with minimal supervision. * Ability to analyze and make suggestions for improvement. * Ability to identify problems, analyze information, develop alternative approaches and recommend solutions in matters related to financial management. * Demonstrates a leadership style that builds and maintains a climate of trust and inspires commitment from others to achieve organization goals. * Strong ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and leadership. * Recognizes the need for change; adapts to, and causes others to adapt to values, strategies, goals and plans in response to changing business conditions. * Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain effective relations with the medical staff and management team to foster and promote the goals of the UCLA Health Preferred: * Masters’ degree in related field (MBA, MHA, MPH)
