Research Assistant 2 - SBS Biomedical Informatics

Department:
Medicine | School Biomed Sci - Biomedical Informatics

Research Assistant 2 to engage in mentored research and training activities related to both basic and applied Biomedical Informatics, including but not limited to: bioinformatics, translational bioinformatics, imaging informatics, clinical research informatics, clinical/medical informatics, and public health informatics. Such activities will involve a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates an understanding and use of computer/information science, biomedical informatics, basic biological sciences, clinical science, and population science theories and methods. Participation in data collection, data analysis, trial design and research subject engagement.

Minimum education and experience requirements: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience with Excel, as well as prior data entry and analysis experience, preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check. Qualified candidates may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
