Program Manager, Digital Fashion Academy

Job Description Summary:

This role will be responsible for the operational development of the Digital Fashion Academy, contribute to reporting on the available market for the program, developing curriculum specific to workforce, supporting leveling activities within the college’s microcredit and badging system, presenting to Curriculum and Programs committee, liaising with employers, actively recruiting new partners, and leading and training future support staff. The Program Manager will report to the Director, ACC Fashion Incubator, and accompany the Director on any relevant meetings to expand local commercial growth.

Job Description:

Description of Duties and Tasks

  • Supervises, trains, coaches, directs, coordinates, and evaluates assigned personnel while adhering to organizational human resource policies and procedures, as well as related employment laws.
  • Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the new Digital Fashion Academy
  • Curriculum development and application of digital certifications and credentials in consultation with the Instructional Coordinator.
  • Strategize and implement various learning modalities and delivery types across academic programming
  • Design, document and implement operational procedures and processes to refine and scale the Digital Fashion Academy
  • Manage the delivery calendar of products and services
  • Develop and scale sales funnel and account growth with enterprise and individual customers
  • Evaluate student progress and provide clear, timely feedback reflecting program learning outcomes and departmental expectations.
  • Remain current in the field through a variety of professional development activities.
  • Provide marketing support with the preparation of copy, research, participant and enterprise brand assets for the purpose of prospective brand recruitment
  • Participate in recruitment efforts for full time, part-time and contracted staff to support a smooth execution of all related tasks.
  • Liaise with appropriate internal and external vendor teams to ensure delivery of critical resources to the Fashion Incubator
  • Conduct critical research as needed or requested to support the growth and development of the Digital Fashion Academy

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Director.

  • Curriculum design techniques and elements.
  • Understanding of manufacturing practices for fashion and digital fashion tools.

  • Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software.
  • Use of an online learning management system such as Blackboard to develop and build course content and perform administrative duties (posting office hours, syllabi, etc.).

Required Work Experience

  • Two years related work experience.

Preferred Work Experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Office, Google Workspace, digital community management (eg. Slack), and video conferencing required. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Project Management Software applications, and Gerber Technology are preferred, and will be expected to be acquired in the role. 

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Fashion Marketing, Fashion Merchandising or related field. 

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a standard office or similar environment.
  • Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.

Safety

  • Supervise safe operation of unit. Facilitate safety inspections. Take reasonable and prudent actions to eliminate identified hazards. Ensure employees receive appropriate safety training and foster a workplace safety culture.

Salary Range

$64,116 - $80,145
