Posting Context Statement
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining data infrastructure systems and processes to support student services and program accreditation and assessment needs, contributing to data reporting required for program assessment and accreditation and working closely with faculty, students and appropriate University offices to support college data collection and reporting needs. This position contributes to the continuous improvement of academic programs in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences.
Position Overview
This position supports the planning and completion of educational, outreach or professional programs; working with program staff, students, the public and/or agencies, to plan and oversee program activities. May lead a distinct area for the program such as outreach, assessment or financial management.
Duties may include:
  • Participate in the development and implementation of program deliverables, services, and activities
  • Coordinate a team with a variety array of talents and responsibilities
  • Collect, compile, and summarize program data for reports
  • Participate in developing program operating goals, objectives and protocols
  • Maintain program budgets, monitoring and reviewing transactions for compliance with program requirements
  • Active participation in the development and submission of program proposals
  • Lead collection and compilation of program assessment data
  • May supervise the work of others or lead a team to accomplish assigned goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications


Required Experience
  • Two years of program coordination or program management experience
  • Working in a team environment to accomplish shared goals
  • Collecting, compiling, summarizing, and analyzing data for administrative reports
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree; four additional years of experience in program coordination (for a total of six years) may substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree
Required Other
  • None
Additional Preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, education, data science, business, or related fields
  • Master’s Degree in related field
  • Processing financial transactions and compiling routine management reports
  • Experience with University programs such as Banner, Campus Labs/Anthology, Canvas and Vandalweb
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated writing, editing, verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience with higher education federal, regional and specialized accrediting agencies’ guidelines, reporting and expectations
  • Experience working with confidential information and ensuring data security while promoting data transparency
  • Advanced experience using data analysis software to create formulas and reports and perform analysis and power queries
  • Experience using cloud-based business analytic and file storage applications to visualize and share data
  • Experience with database development, management, and troubleshooting
