Program Manager (Be Well Texas)

Job Summary:

Responsible for attaining programmatic, marketing, fiscal, and staffing goals to conform to institutional goals.

Job Duties:

  • Coordination of care for substance use disorder and/or specialized female populations.
  • Oversees the department’s revenue cycle activities by proactively identifying, diagnosing, 
    troubleshooting and resolving issues or barriers to revenue maximization.
  • Establishes and communicates operating procedures, practices, and guidelines.
  • Establishes, monitors, and controls schedules and project budgets.
  • Plans, organizes, and manages the work of research and support staff.
  • Assists department leadership with revenue operational functions to ensure revenue flow is aligned with the strategic goals of the department.
  • Responsible for the negotiation of contracts.
  • Provides financial/business support in the areas of charge capture, denials management, billing, and compliance within the department and clinical sites.
  • Plans and manages business development and marketing activities for the department.
  • Serves as an internal liaison with other departments that have revenue, and coding concerns/questions and works closely with Compliance to ensure departmental compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Develops solutions to complex problems.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor's degree is required. Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience:

Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience is required.
Preferred experience working with substance use disorders and/or specialized female service.

Licenses and Education:

Preferred license as a Licensed Clinical Dependency Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
