Job Overview

 Manage, design, develop, modify, and present programs.


Essential Functions
  • Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs.  Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations.
  • Implement policies and procedures. 
  • Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports. 
  • Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations.
  • May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials.
  • May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.

Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience
  • Three (3) years of experience in program development or business administration.
  • May require supervision experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered
  • Administrative skills and experience, including MS Office and comfort with creating process to track information using Excel (e.g. applications/hiring, training compliance)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve within office systems and structures
  • Customer service skills or experience (because oversees and trains our front desk staff)
  • Ability to supervise student employees
  • Tech savvy (e.g. has to be able to learn, use, and train students on our Tutoring software system; UC Flex)
  • Interpersonal communication
