Position Overview: |
The Program Management Specialist plays a central role in the day-to-day and longer-term operation of the Department of Geography & Environmental Systems (GES) and the Interdisciplinary Science program by providing administrative support to the Chair, faculty and students. |

Responsibilities: |
The Program Management Specialist reports to the Department Chair and provides administrative support to the faculty and students. The position will supervise a part-time Administrative Assistant II and student support staff. Specific day-to-day responsibilities include:

Required Minimum Qualifications: |
Note: Additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Excel. Experience with website management is a plus. |
