Are you an experienced administrator and motivated leader who is passionate about establishing the direction, goals, agendas and implementation strategies and policies serving young adults with disabilities? The School of Education & Human Development is seeking a Director for the Center on Disability and Development in the Department of Educational Psychology.

This is a rewarding position which identifies and secures program funding and expansion resources while analyzing program statistics for reporting, tracking progress, and adjusting programs. Your outgoing spirit will yield success as you build partnerships with the university, schools, parents, community, and agencies while you identify and cultivate relationships with relevant stakeholders. You will work in College Station and in Lee County, Texas, overseeing training and technical assistance to schools, VR, employers, and community members that are in the process of replication as you develop and lead iGROW program model and training tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience with ten years of experience at the school-district level in the field of special education or related field.

The well qualified candidate may have experience in the areas of Transition and/or Employment at the school district-level and experience with youth and/or young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
