The Division of Cardiology has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Coordinator for the Division’s Inpatient Care Units. The purpose of this position is to provide programmatic and fiscal support to the growing program, comprised of the Inpatient Medical Director, APP Section Head, Hospitalist Section Head, Section Leads, and over 50 additional faculty. The Program Coordinator reports to the Program Manager.

In conjunction with the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator will contribute to administrative and operational needs in the rapidly growing and changing units. The position will provide maintenance of service, call and vacation schedules for Cardiology care providers. This position will maintain dynamic communication with UW Medicine Medical Training Programs, Cardiac Services, clinic, fiscal and administrative staff, hospital partners, and numerous university departments. The Program Coordinator is an active member of the Cardiology Administrative Team.

Work of this position is evaluated in terms of adherence to program goals, budgetary limitations, and compliance with laws, regulation and general institutional policies.

The Department of Medicine is committed to the goals and mission of the School of Medicine and the University. This position supports the teaching and research activities by assisting the Division of Cardiology.
