Responsibilities

The Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology is seeking a Program Coordinator to provide support for three dynamic, highly competitive, and academically-oriented post-graduate training programs. Primary duties include:

•Oversee all administrative aspects of the programs, including coordinating rotations of trainees throughout the 4 training hospitals to optimize educational experiences; coordinate online evaluation systems; administering medical student rotations; preparing agendas, presentations, and minutes for meetings with key stakeholders; developing and implementing the processing of externships, including elective rotations; assisting with faculty and trainee data collection and preparation of all program accreditation documents and internal review reports
•Serve as the primary contact between residents and fellows and residency programs at affiliated hospitals and applicable medical boards and ACGME and other certifying agencies
•Organize the annual recruitment process, including the applications, interviews, selections, and publication of the recruitment materials
•Coordinate graduation activities and separation process for outgoing house staff, the welcome orientation for new house staff, and open house events for prospective applicants
•Coordinate and administer annual scheduling and administration of the In-Training Examination (ITE) exam for residents, including proctoring special cases, as well as other required annual exams for residents
•Supervise the enrollment and evaluations of three different medical student rotations
