About the College of Arts and Sciences

The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Cincinnati seeks to hire a Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator’s responsibilities include duties in the areas of academic support, HR support, and general administrative support within the department. The ideal candidate will be a valuable contributor to the team, as well as be able to work independently, solve problems, have a high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY. Residence must be within the Cincinnati Tri-State area with reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.


Job Overview

Plan, design, evaluate, modify, and coordinate programs for a department or college.


Essential Functions
  • Contact for departmental programs and graduate students
  • Arrange accommodations & travel for guests
  • Assist with event planning (scheduling, arrangements, catering, etc.)
  • Order courses, course evaluations, and process course order changes
  • Prepare and distribute enrollment & other data reports
  • Facilitate classroom changes and special room assignments
  • Process student course permissions
  • Update Catalyst instructors – give new students/faculty Canvas access
  • Create/send out/collect acceptance letters
  • Asset Audits
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.

 


Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

One (1) year of program coordination experience.


Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
