What We Want

TAMIDS is seeking a Program Coordinator II who will assist and support the Director and Assistant Directors in the organization and operations of TAMIDS programs, including a focus on industry engagement and professional education. This is a new position to support the growth of the programs to both scale the number of external partnership and implement associated activities supported by external funding from industry, state, and federal sources.  We seek to hire a candidate who will support our commitment to enriching the learning and working environment by promoting a culture that respects all perspectives, talents & identities per our Core Values . The preferred candidate will have training certifications or qualifications related to academic program management, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and remote conferencing applications. We are looking to hire a candidate who is a team player and who will promote collaboration and cooperation while working within a team. Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Four years of related experience in a business related field

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and remote conferencing applications

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others

  • Verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training certifications or qualification related to academic program management, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and remote conferencing applications

Responsibilities:

Program Support

Conducts program operations under guidance from TAMIDS program directors. Assists in establishing program goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and strategic planning. Assists in preparation and monitoring of budgets for programs and events. Plans and implements program events such as conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings and workshops. Acts as point of contact and coordinator with program participants and responds to enquiries. Liaises with supporting and collaborating organizations. Schedules, attends, and represents TAMIDS in program-related meetings. Collaborates to expand and create new programs.

Communication, Data, and Marketing

Compiles program statistics and reports. Coordinates development of training materials and sessions. Researches and conducts outreach to prospective program participants. Maintains program records and databases. Assists in identifying funding opportunities and submission of funding proposals. Conducts program evaluations and surveys.
