Works with the Associate Director of Application Review to accomplish the strategic goals and priorities of the Academic and Diversity Strategies area in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The Program Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Application Review. Works to support the development, planning, and execution of processes related application review.

Provides support with the implementation of application reviewer trainings and monthly application review seminars to aid in strengthening reviewer alignment and agreement. Maintains application reviewer rosters and assignment database. Conducts weekly application assignment for 70+ reviewers. Manages administrative note review process. Supports the evaluation and assessment of the success of application review. Manages the Undergraduate Admissions appeal and reconsideration processes. Aids in the holistic application review process of 70,000+ undergraduate applications annually. Assists with leading efforts in troubleshooting any errors or outages with application review systems. Serves as the primary liaison with Admissions Operations. Reviews applications (domestic, international, transfer, special population) and makes admission recommendations through our holistic application review process, adhering to deadlines. Aids in the development of business process mapping and documentation for Application Review.

Responsible for supporting the management of select operational functions designed to increase the strategic collaboration and engagement of academic colleges and departments in the recruitment and enrollment of undergraduate students. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with academic colleges and departments. Aids in the training and coaching specific to college and department academic content for Undergraduate Admissions staff. Supports the onboarding and training of academic college professionals responsible for undergraduate recruitment. Serves as the liaison and manages the operational processes for the timely review and revision of select academic focused emails, letters, digital and print communications for newly admitted NFYS and transfer students. Verifies accuracy of content for communications. Supports the coordination of production schedules associated with select academic-focused materials administered by the Academic Relations area. Process major change requests for admitted students. Assists with managing academic program participation and logistics for targeted recruitment programs. Responsible for the maintenance of information management resources/systems designed to effectively support academic unit collaboration in undergraduate recruitment (i.e. College Outreach Group Microsoft Teams, Academic Relations SharePoint, etc.). Serves as liaison and manages operational processes for select academic talent-based and direct admissions academic programs (i.e. School of Music and Department of Dance) and specific/direct enrollment plans (i.e. Department of Design and College of Nursing). Maintains a thorough understanding of admissions policies and procedures and student data related to recruitment and admissions.

Serve as the secondary contact for the University Community Enrollment Review Committee (UCERC) within for Undergraduate Admissions. Assists with support for all key institutional stakeholders regarding the administration of the Community Standard process. Aids in the development and management of data and reporting for the UCERC process.

Uses demonstrated knowledge and experience with databases to design and execute data queries using internal data management tools. Learns and uses data management tools, CRM, student information system, and other technologies to inform and support work. Reviews, analyzes, and validates data to make recommendations for program enhancements through use of data tools.

Supports efforts to increase the recruitment and yield of underrepresented minorities, first- generation and low-income students. Participates as an active member of Undergraduate Admissions through membership on committees. Assists with on and off campus events and programs. Occasional travel and work nights and/or weekends. Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

Required: Bachelor's degree; 2 years relevant experience in higher education or related area; Demonstrated ability to collaborate and resolve conflicts; Strong project management skills; Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with individuals at all levels; Experience with desktop technology solutions.

Salary range for this position: $18.61 per hour – $24.81 per hour. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, units' available budget, and the candidates' qualifications.
