Program Associate - O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law - Georgetown University Law Center

The O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law was established in 2007 through the generous philanthropy of Linda and Timothy O’Neill to respond to the need for innovative solutions to the most pressing global health concerns. In bringing together experts from both the public health and legal fields, the O’Neill Institute reflects the importance of public and private law in health policy analysis.

Job Overview

The Program Associate develops and executes operational, business development and project-specific strategies. As well, they promote efficiency and productivity on the team by providing leadership and support in process development and improvement, supporting project management of specific projects, and improving the coordination of work streams by developing a cohesive rhythm of business for the center across projects.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Project management and support
  • Communication and collaboration
  • Research and writing
  • Coordination of programs and their activities

Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation

Under the supervision of the O’Neill Institute Executive Director, the Program Associate supports the Program Directors.

This position has been designated as Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University.  Such review may necessitate a change to a position’s mode of work designation. Requirements and Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S.
  • 3 to 5 years of project management, business consulting, or operations experience
  • Strong communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive work style
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in ambiguity
  • A self-starter without requirement for directives
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating
  • Professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • An interest in Law, Policy or Global Health
  • A passion for improving lives and livelihood around the world
