Minimum Qualifications

HS or GED and one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade NC Wage minimum $14.75/hr

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to independently plan, organize and complete multiple work assignments simultaneously with attention to detail.  Possess professional oral and written communications skills.  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and/or other design software programs.  Ability to coordinate meetings via virtual technology platforms.  Extensive knowledge of office equipment including personal computer systems, photocopy machines, printers, etc.  Ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships with colleagues, community partners and the public including culturally sensitive communications with diverse populations.  Ability to independently research information and be motivated to learn new skills to enhance operations.  Available to work evening and weekends on occasion.

Position Description

This is a Part-time position at 0.40FTE/15 hours per week:

Bowling Green and Bardstown - The University of Louisville Brown Cancer Center's Kentucky Cancer Program has and opening for the Program Assistant, Sr. to perform administrative functions involving a considerable variety and complexity of assignments for both the Bowling Green and Bardstown offices of the Kentucky Cancer Program. This position provides general, clerical, financial and organizational support to operations, and provides assistance with community outreach programs for the eighteen counties in the Barren River and Lincoln Trail Districts.  Support is also provided to the Cancer Control Specialist for state funded initiatives and special projects.
