Description:

Provide office and administrative support for the Director of Operations. Provide high-level communication to prospective students and work on special events/assignments as assigned by the Department Head or other Senior Faculty members. Working hours are Monday-Friday 9:30-5:30. This position does not require overtime or weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Operations, including reconciliation of p-card transactions, processing reimbursements, and program advances using the Chrome River system, maintaining physical inventory through the FABweb system
  • Act as the main point of contact for incoming DPT students. Host annual open house for prospective students. Work on special projects/events as assigned by the Department Head.
  • Host Orientation and White Coat ceremonies for current students.
  • Responsible for the design and content of the departmental website and the maintenance of the departmental listserv.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining clinical education databases including information on students’ health documentation for clinical education sites associated with the program.
  • Host annual State of Department event. Responsible for instructing students in the use of clinical education software including Exxat and CastleBranch.
  • Serve as a resource for students and clinical faculty in the use of various software systems.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Two years experience working with a variety of different databases and software systems.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment to be able to analyze and investigate a variety of questions or problems.
    • General knowledge of office operations, customer service principles, and basic Windows application knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
    • Excellent oral and written communication, excellent typing skills, proficient knowledge in Excel and Word, proficiency in writing, and editing, proficiency in using and navigating various computer software packages.
