Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | The Program and Business Development Coordinator (PBD Coordinator) supports and coordinates activities of the Quantum Startup Foundry (QSF) in the University of Maryland Office of Vice President for Research. QSF is an accelerator focused on quantum technology startups. PBD Coordinator works with QSF staff to coordinate existing QSF programs. PBD Coordinator] helps ideate and develop new proposals for attractive programming targeting QSF accelerator participants and prospects. PBD Coordinator works with the QSF team to formulate strategic objectives of proposed programs, design approved programs for maximum impact, develop procedures and policies applicable to those programs, and coordinates their execution. PDB Coordinator develops and nurtures relationships with quantum technology startups interested in QSF programming or collaboration with QSF, other quantum hubs and their accelerators, and quantum groups on and off campus. This position will report to the Director of QSF. It is a one-year contract full-time position. |
