What we want

Under the direction of the Senior Associate Director, this position will assist in the accomplishment of tasks necessary to produce the MSC J. Wayne Stark Northeast Tour.

What you need to know

Pay Rate: $15/hour

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma.

  • Experience in arranging travel and meeting accommodations for groups of people.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work semi-independently, make phone calls to make trip arrangements.

  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, web browser, and basic layout software.

  • Ability to multi-task work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in arranging travel and meeting arrangements for groups of travelers; experience in preparing professional materials for dissemination to program participants and guests; knowledge of Texas A&M University, the Memorial Student Center, and the J. Wayne Stark Northeast Tour.

Essential Duties/Tasks

  • Administrative - Contact participating schools to determine continued interest, and as appropriate, arrange tours and sessions with admission personnel. Assist with preparation of applications, promotional materials, trip itineraries, and biography/resume booklets. Prepare all aspects of meetings and receptions in advance and assist with on-site logistics, as available. Under direction of the Senior Associate Director, coordinate training and provide guidance to student volunteer city directors. Other duties as assigned.
