Job Summary: The Program Aide, under general supervision, provides support to a faculty member with research projects including but not limited to, literature reviews, derivation of statistical models, programming and writing manuscripts.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
  • Experience working with diverse individuals and communities

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with ANOVA type Gaussian process model.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review the literature in the past 10 years on Gaussian process models with qualitative and quantitative inputs.
  • Derive and finalize the framework of an ANOVA type Gaussian process model with functional outcome variables with quantitative independent variables, where qualitative inputs will be set to group variables.
  • Between group and within group variations will be investigated as functions of the quantitative inputs.
  • Based on a program written by the faculty member, employee will finalize the program, document key variables and procedures, and write a software user guide.
  • Assist the faculty member to finalize a statistical paper for publication.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
