The Administrative Assistant provides support in the daily operations of the Administrative Staff that serve the Veterinary Anatomic Pathology Department.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education and experience. No required experience.  

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Good phone etiquette and courteous. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs. Punctual and dependable.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative: Provides support in the daily operations of the Administrative Staff that serve the Veterinary Anatomic Pathology Department. Some duties include but are not limited to entering new pathology cases, entering charges and labeling specimens, exporting laboratory reports, logging new cases, and proofreading reports.

  • Office/Clerical: General office duties include answering phone calls, taking messages, printing, and scanning.
